With a 31-pound coal capacity the 466 allows you to burn without reloading for 24 hours. The convenient top loading hopper feed system keeps adding the coal to the fire so you don't have to.
Thermostatically Controlled Heating:
Set the temperature range you are most comfortable with and then let the thermostat maintain the heat output for you.
Convection Heat:
The flow of heated air through the double wall cast iron construction creates natural convection air currents which more evenly heat your home.
Easy Wood Conversion:
This highly efficient stove from Jotul converts easily from a coal burner into a wood stove. Just take out the coal hopper and you'll be ready to enjoy the beauty of the wood fire. Burn wood up to 16" in length. As a wood burner, the new #466 will burn for up to 8 hours and load from the front or side.
Porcelain Enameled Cast Iron:
The 466 features solid 100% cast iron construction. The cast iron is evenly coated with extremely durable layers of porcelain enamel. Porcelain enamel not only adds rich color to your room, but makes your stove easy to care for - a quick wipe with a damp cloth and your 466 will look like new.
