The Jotul 602 was available in three different models 602, 602B, and 602C. The first 602 model were manufactured in 1972-1987. The first 602 was the non-UL stove, the handle on the stove was wooden. There are other parts on the stove that were also different on this model. The other two models the 602B and the 602C, were UL approved models. The handle on these stoves was ceramic and other parts were different on this unit.
