Travis has changed the on/off switch in all of their gas appliances.  This is the switch that allows you to manually turn the main burner on and off.  The new switch has low resistance in the contacts and a high cycle count, which makes it ideal for long life in a high heat  environment.
The new switch is the same size as the old switch, so it is backward compatible with all Travis applications.  It is a single pole (2 terminal) design as opposed to the old switch which was a double pole (4 terminal) design.  This means a wire splitter must be used to create a parallel or series connection. (See below)
